Michael’s videos — the method explained in his own words
How Michael lost 25 kg in 2.5 months — the condensed video on the pepper method
This video was made in collaboration with Michael Prgomet — the naturopath I’ve known for many years and whose journey I described in the chapter “A word before we begin” on the homepage.
Here, Michael personally explains what getting started with the method can look like — by simply taking black pepper and curcuma (also curry, if needed), supplemented by the targeted correction of micronutrient deficiencies that typically occur over the course of weight loss:
- Water-soluble vitamins (B, C)
- Fat-soluble vitamins, including omega-3 fatty acids
In Michael’s experience, in combination with a mindful low-carb diet, the body was able to reduce both weight and water retention.
What particularly stood out to Michael during this phase: Thanks to the right nutrient supply, the typical accompanying symptoms of dieting (tiredness, cravings, irritability) stayed considerably milder than usual — which made the change surprisingly doable.

Another aspect he addresses: In Michael’s experience, niacin (vitamin B3) and piperine can have a positive effect on circulation — which, in combination with enough still water and ionized minerals, helps enable the body to deal efficiently with the movement of substances in the metabolism.
Recommended use — how you can test the first effects for yourself
If you’re interested but would like to check first whether the combination of pepper and curcuma has noticeable effects on you — Michael recommends a simple self-test:
Option A — vegetable skillet
A simple vegetable skillet with:
- 1 level teaspoon each of black pepper + curcuma
- 200 ml cream (vegan cream works too)
Option B — tomato or carrot juice shake
A shake with:
- 1 level teaspoon of black pepper
- Curcuma
- 50 ml cream (vegan cream works too)
- A pinch of salt
Even after just one meal like this, you can notice the inner feeling of warmth — that’s Michael’s experience and not a guarantee, but for many it’s a first indicator of the pepper effect in the metabolism.
⚠️ Important note on the pepper: If you have a sensitive stomach, reflux, or gastritis, are pregnant, or take prescription medication, check with a doctor or naturopath first — piperine can increase the absorption of some active ingredients. 💡 Self-test ≠ daily use: The amounts above (1 tsp per meal) are meant for the one-time self-test. For long-term use, Michael recommends about one level teaspoon of pepper per day, spread throughout the day — see Michael’s meal plan for details.

Easy to understand: over-acidification & minerals in cellular metabolism
In this more detailed video, Michael Prgomet — naturopath and lecturer — explains in an easy-to-understand way:
- How acids form in the body and what role they play in the metabolism
- Why ionized alkaline minerals, in his experience, are important for bringing these acids back into balance

Generating more energy — cellular metabolism — fighting tiredness (tips & documentary)
In this talk, Michael walks through a simplified picture of cellular metabolism and of energy production in the body’s cells:
- In the mitochondria, simple sugars are converted into energy with the help of water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins as well as oxygen
- This produces acids as natural metabolic byproducts, which have to be brought back into balance
His conclusion: More energy at the cellular level — less tiredness — an active metabolism. In Michael’s experience, that was the basis on which losing weight also felt quite doable mentally.
